Today, Tekton Hospitality– a company that specializes in manufacturing custom furniture for commercial use– announces that it is fully operational, and opened for business on February 29, 2016. “We are processing inquiries, converting quotes with supported engineering, utilizing established suppliers, and Tekton’s factory is functional,” said Henry Savedra, Jr, Tekton Hospitality’s president and CEO.
Within the doors of its 118.6k sf industrial facility, the euphoric mood zings with the synergy of its new hires and its newly administered procedures. “It just seems like Tekton’s capacity, on a daily basis, is just growing. Our hiring is bringing in such intelligence, detail-orientation, enthusiastic work-ethic, willingness to learn, and unity. I feel like I’m watching a rocket launch,” said Savedra. “We’re not hiring individuals; we’re building a team. We’re taking our time– being cautious– to find employees who will participate in a shared vision for professionalism that is moral, transparent, loyal, and driven.”
In addition to character, Savedra is currently devoting himself to one-on-one carpentry training. He wants to develop a “top-notch” troupe with correct carpentry philosophy. “It’s a slower process, but the soil is much more fertile [for growth] that way.” From seven am to evening, usually six days a week, their hands craft alongside computer numerically controlled (CNC) technology machines– the most technologically advanced equipment in the furniture-manufacturing industry to date. “I am patiently preparing Tekton to be a company with wisdom,” Savedra said. “Filling the void of good sourcing and good production in a domestic United States location– it’s an important task for such a major industry.”
Tekton will be hosting two in-house events to celebrate its opening– a soft showing with special friends and clients, followed by a grand-opening with city-officials and its broader network. The dates of each will be announced at a later date. Savedra decided to open Tekton for business on February 29, 2016 because it was a leap year day.
